Qualifikationen

• First level Registered Children’s Nurse.
• Current live registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
• Professional, clinical knowledge acquired through training to degree or equivalent.
• Level 3 Safeguarding Children.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development or other training relevant to role.
• Recent experience of nursing children in acute/community setting or recently completed a Return to Nursing course.
• Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Post-registration experience of Children’s Emergency or acute paediatric care.

Aufgaben

• Provide safe and effective care to all children (0–18) requiring admission on the Children’s Unit/Paediatric Assessment Unit.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate evidence-based individualised patient care.
• Contribute to the development of nursing standards and monitoring of outcomes.
• Support ongoing professional development and learning opportunities for the team.
