Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is recruiting for a Band 5 Paediatric Nurse to join an NHS Trust in Redhill, covering Surrey and Sussex. The role involves delivering patient-centred care to paediatric patients, with flexible hours including full-time and part-time shifts.

You will assess and plan care, administer medications and treatments, monitor patients, and work closely with families and the multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards and safety in a busy paediatric setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid RCN registration.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Monitor patients' conditions, perform clinical observations, and respond appropriately to any changes.
• Communicate effectively with children, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and compassionate care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and ongoing professional development.
• Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive environment that supports patient recovery and wellbeing.
