Job summary

Superior Healthcare is recruiting a Paediatric Nurse in Lydd, Kent to deliver child-centred care for a client with complex needs. You will provide clinical support, aiding the child’s comfort and development while coordinating with the family and care team.

Applicants should have at least six months’ UK children’s nursing experience, current NMC registration, a full UK driving licence, and a compassionate, patient approach. Shifts include days and nights; UK work rights required.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Children's Nurse.
• Six months’ UK experience in a care role with children.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Excellent communication and clinical observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, child-centred nursing care according to the individual care plan.
• Monitor the child or young person’s clinical condition and general wellbeing.
• Provide agreed clinical interventions within your competence.
• Support medication management in line with the care plan and relevant procedures.
• Recognise and respond appropriately to changes in health or behaviour.
• Work closely with parents, carers and healthcare professionals.
• Support development, independence and participation in everyday activities.
• Maintain accurate care and clinical records.
• Follow safeguarding and infection prevention procedures.
• Build a consistent and reassuring relationship with the child and their family.
