Job summary

Pulse Nursing is seeking compassionate and experienced Paediatric Nurses to join our team and work within a prestigious Barnsley Hospital NHS FT. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated nurses who are passionate about delivering outstanding care to children and young people in a supportive clinical environment.

Pay rates range from £17 to £26 per hour on PAYE (Days £17.00, Nights/Saturdays £20.50, Sundays/Bank Holidays £26) and £20 to £30 per hour under Umbrella (Days £20,

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin.
• Paediatric nursing qualification (RN Child).
• Experience in paediatric care and safeguarding.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and young people.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care per patient needs.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per Trust policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care.
• Communicate with children and families, providing support.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Follow safeguarding, health and infection control policies.
