Job summary

PST Group is seeking an experienced female Paediatric Nurse to cover weekend day and night shifts, supporting children with complex healthcare needs in person in West Yorkshire. The role requires CVC training and a calm, capable approach to urgent situations.

Applicants should have strong paediatric experience, be confident managing epilepsy and seizures, PEG feeding, and oxygen administration as needed, while delivering high-quality child-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekend day and night nursing care for children with complex healthcare needs.

• Monitor and respond to changes in a child’s condition with clinical judgement.
• Maintain compassionate, calm care in challenging situations.

Experienced Paediatric Nurses | Weekend | CVC Trained

We are looking for experienced female Paediatric Nurses to join our team for weekend day shifts, supporting children with complex healthcare needs in a caring and professional environment.

About the Role

We are seeking nurses who have strong experience in complex paediatric care and are confident managing a range of clinical needs, particularly:

• CVC (Central Venous Catheter) trained and experienced
• Experience caring for children with complex medical needs
• Strong experience managing epilepsy and emergency seizures
• Competent and confident in emergency seizure management
• Experienced in PEG feeding and care
• Confident in the administration of oxygen in an emergency
• Able to recognise changes in a child's condition and respond appropriately
• Compassionate, calm and confident when providing care in potentially challenging situations

What We're Looking For

You will be a qualified and experienced Paediatric Nurse with a genuine passion for providing high-quality, child-centred care. You should be confident working independently, have excellent clinical judgement, and be able to respond calmly and effectively in an emergency.

Weekend day availability is essential.
