Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home provides clinically outstanding, personalised homecare to children and adults across England. We support people living with complex conditions, helping them stay safe, independent and connected to their communities.

As a registered paediatric nurse, you will deliver high quality, person-centred care in the family home, including personal care, medication administration and managing clinical interventions for our 11-year-old client with complex needs.

Qualifications

• 6 months nursing experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Actively registered on the NMC.
• Have experience with personal care, medication and manual handling.
• Comfortable working in a 1:1 setting.
• Willing to learn new skills and undertake complex care training.
• Ability to provide high-quality care with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with moving and handling.
• Administer medications and manage clinical interventions.
• Assist with complex care tasks including deep suctioning and PEG-J use.
• Enhance client quality of life through community interaction and goal achievement.

Shifts/working hours: Monday – Friday: 10am until 6pm

Pay rates: £28.37 per hour (including holiday pay)

Our healthcare assistants/support workers deliver highly bespoke care shaped around the individual needs, goals and aspirations.

As a registered paediatric nurse, you will be providing high quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. On shift, you will be expected to provide personal care, assist with moving and handling and support with any clinical interventions specific to our client. Alongside, you will be expected to enrich their quality of life via community interaction and support in achieving their goals/aspirations.

About the role

In this role, you will be supporting our 11-year-old female client within her family home, who is living with several complex care needs including global developmental delay and a complex seizure disorder. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing our clients’ clinical interventions which include deep suctioning, care and use of PEG-J and epilepsy (in-house training will be provided if required).
