Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participate in routine diagnostic service across histopathology sections.
• Work within a team to provide timely results for varied cases.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of specialist techniques (e.g., rapid histochemistry, immunocytochemistry).
• Handle, process, transport and dispose of samples per statutory requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in pathology systems.
• Support UKAS ISO 15189 accreditation activities.
• Undertake technical lab work and train staff as required.
• Follow departmental safety practices and legislation.
