The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a Junior Sister for the Paediatric High Dependency Unit in Wolverhampton. The role supports Level 2 HDU development and works with the management team to mentor junior staff and drive competencies across HDU skills.

You will care for children with diverse medical and surgical needs, including tracheostomy, BiPAP and LTV, while maintaining high standards of clinical leadership and patient‑centred care.

Competenze

• Mentorship/Supervisor and Assessor Course completed.
• EPALS training.
• High Dependency Course.

Mansioni

• Provide high standard nursing care for children in HDU.
• Lead and supervise junior staff; ensure mandatory training and personal development reviews.
• Assist with management duties and shift planning to meet service needs.
• Deliver compassionate, family‑centred care to patients and their families.
