Job summary

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a Registered Children's Nurse to join the Paediatric High Dependency Unit as a Junior Sister. You will work within a dynamic team and contribute to developing the unit, supporting junior colleagues to achieve HDU competencies, and delivering high standards of care to children and young people.

You should have an RSCN or RN Child qualification, be up-to-date with professional development, and have completed a Mentorship or Supervisor and Assessor

Qualifications

• Registered Children's Nurse with RSCN or RN Child qualification.
• Evidence of professional updating within the last 12 months.
• Post registration course completed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deputise for the Senior Sister / Charge Nurse as required.
• Manage a team of staff, ensuring mandatory training and annual PDPs are completed.
