Job summary

Humber Health Partnership seeks enthusiastic Band 5/6 Paediatric Nurse to join the Paediatric Emergency Nursing (PEN) team. You will deliver high-quality child-centred care in the ECC and strengthen links with PAU, ensuring safe, timely care for children and families in an acute setting.

The role requires registration as a Children's Nurse with at least 1 year post-registration paediatric experience and a passion for emergency care. Flexible working and development opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Registered Children's Nurse with at least 1 year post-registration paediatric experience.
• Desirable ECC/PAU exposure; full training provided for minor injuries.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, child-centred care in the Emergency Care Centre.
• Act as liaison between ECC and PAU for seamless transitions.
• Advocate for acutely unwell children and their carers.
• Demonstrate compassionate care and safe practice in a fast-paced environment.
• Be a role model and mentor within the PEN team.
