NHS Scotland is seeking a Dietitian with a passion for paediatrics to join their team at the Royal Hospital for Children. This permanent full-time position offers training under the supervision of experienced dietitians, providing services to children with various dietary needs. This role is essential in a leading paediatric centre, allowing for invaluable clinical experience and professional growth.

The shift pattern for this position is Mon-Fri 0830-1630.
An excellent opportunity has arisen of a Dietitian with an interest in paediatric dietetics.
Based at the Royal Hospital for Children (RHC) the post holder will receive training in paediatric dietetics under the supervision of a Specialist Paediatric Dietitian. Once competent the post holder will provide an in-patient service to the acute receiving ward, a weekly outpatient clinic including infants and children diagnosed with cow’s milk allergy and/or other general paediatric clinics and have the opportunity to shadow other specialist areas as opportunities allow e.g. cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology
The Paediatric Dietetic Service has a team of over 30 dietitians. The Royal Hospital for Children is one of the largest paediatric centres in the UK and is a national and tertiary referral centre for a wide range of paediatric specialities.
The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team with medical, nursing and other AHP colleagues. You will work within a larger clinical team of dietitians and will receive good peer support and opportunities for personal and professional development. You will also participate in the student clinical placement programme.
You will have a BSc in Dietetics or equivalent and be registered with the HPCP. Although post graduate training is preferable applications will be considered from newly qualified dietitians with a passion for working in the area of paediatrics.
