Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered Nursing Associate to join the Paediatric Critical Care team. The role sits within PCCU, which delivers Level 2 and 3 critical care, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality patient-centred care across Oxfordshire and the TVW PCC ODN.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Associate on Nursing and Midwifery register.
• Evidence of the nursing associate qualification (higher apprenticeship and /or a relevant Foundation Degree programme).
• Previous experience in a Critical Care, Children's or Emergency department environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care that focuses on the direct needs of the individual, supporting registered nurses and non registered practitioners.
• Be able to appropriately delegate tasks to non registered practitioners.
• Take responsibility for developing own clinical competence, leadership and reflective practice skills within the workplace.
• Provide, promote and where appropriate advocate for non-discriminatory, person-centred and sensitive care at all times.
