Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd. seeks a dedicated Female Support Worker to care for a 7-year-old girl with complex medical needs, including a tracheostomy and PEG feeding. The role is permanent with minimum 30 hours per week and full UK driving licence is required.

The position offers specialist training, ongoing professional development and a supportive family environment. You’ll work to enhance mobility, communication and daily living skills in a one-to-one setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience supporting children with complex, physical or additional needs within the UK.
• Caring, patient, reliable and highly professional.
• Full UK manual driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day care including tracheostomy care and PEG feeding.
• Supporting communication using PECS, Makaton and electronic AAC devices.
• Encouraging play, learning, social engagement and participation in activities.
• Helping develop communication, mobility and independence through personalised goals.
• Accompanying the client to school, appointments and community activities.
• Collaborating with parents, therapists and other workers to ensure consistent support.
