Complete Care Amegreen in Birmingham is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to provide 1:1 care for a child with complex medical needs at home. You will support clinical needs, comfort, safety, and wellbeing alongside a knowledgeable family.

The role requires paediatric complex-care experience, including suctioning and medication administration, with a focus on privacy, safety, and accurate record-keeping. DBS check provided, with full training and progression opportunities within CCH.

Qualifications

• Experience in paediatric complex care is essential, particularly suctioning and medication administration.
• Candidates should be reliable, compassionate, patient, and confident remaining calm in challenging situations, with strong communication, observation, and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing oxygen therapy and suctioning.
• Supporting chest physiotherapy.
• Monitoring seizures and dystonia episodes.
• Administering prescribed medication.
• Maintaining accurate care records.
