Thornbury Community Services is seeking a paediatric nurse to provide complex care for a 6-year-old boy with bulbar palsy and a tracheostomy during his school day. You will work within a dedicated team to promote safety, independence and participation in education and community activities.

The role focuses on compassionate, reliable care, building family trust, and delivering person-centred support to help the child thrive at home and in school.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK complex paediatric care.
• Minimum 6 months in the last 2 years in complex care.
• Skilled in tracheostomy care, suction, and NG tube management.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with families and empower children to participate in daily activities.
• Create safe environments and provide high-quality clinical support.
