Job summary

Empowering U Limited is seeking a compassionate Paediatric Complex Care Assistant to support a child with complex medical needs at the client’s school in Solihull. Hours include 08:30–17:00 on Monday and 08:30–16:00 on Tuesday; pay ranges £12.21–£13.28 per hour with a caring, nurse-led ethos focused on dignity and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK care experience.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, person-centred care at the service user’s school.
• Assist with medication administration and monitor health conditions.
• Follow individual care plans and record observations.
• Support children with mobility and daily activities and nutrition.
• Engage children in play to support development and wellbeing.
