Job summary

Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Team Leader for the Children's Community/Continuing Care Team. The role focuses on managing a large paediatric nursing team, delivering seven‑day community care, and driving safety and quality improvements across services.

The post requires strong leadership, autonomous working, and a commitment to service development with a focus on patient experience and outcome improvement in the Bradford District.

Qualifications

• Significant post-registration experience in paediatric nursing.
• Experience in managing a team and individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Experience of workforce planning and delegation to ensure skills are utilised.
• Experience of working in MDT and across boundaries.
• Experience of involvement in quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• The Team Leader will manage a large team and ensure provision of highly specialised nursing care and advice.
• Plan, implement and deliver children's nursing services within the community.
• Coordinate day-to-day care for children requiring nursing support and continuing care in the community.
• Lead on quality improvement and effective clinical nursing leadership.
• Ensure all aspects of quality and safety are integral to care and evaluate services via ongoing audits.
