A leading healthcare provider in Scotland is looking for a committed Children's Nurse to join their Paediatric Department. The role involves enhancing clinical effectiveness, leading quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring safety within the department. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with the Highland Patient Safety Team and other health professionals, fostering a culture of safety and quality improvement.

An interesting and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Children's Nurse to join our team.
Based within the Paediatric Department at Raigmore Hospital the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Risk Management and Quality Improvement.
The post holder will provide advice, support and leadership in respect of quality improvement and clinical effectiveness, and also support risk management in respect of DATIX, debrief and Adverse event management within Paediatrics.
The role involves research governance, clinical policy development, coordination of national guideline dissemination and review of implementation, management and driving of change, supporting processes for internal and external reviews, complaints investigations and inspections.
The post holder will work closely with the Highland Patient Safety Team, the Paediatric Consultant Risk Lead and the Clinical Nurse Manager in addition to all other professionals across the Paediatric Division to encourage a culture of safety, quality improvement and learning within the department.
Working Hours Monday to Friday - hours flexible within 9-5pm.
