Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home is seeking a Paediatric Clinical Lead to manage a caseload of paediatric packages and lead clinical care delivery. This field-based role involves on-call rotation and travel across Leeds to support families in the community.

You will conduct holistic nursing assessments, develop personalised care plans with families and the care team, and mentor staff while ensuring high-quality documentation and risk management.

Qualifications

• Paediatric nursing degree with an active NMC pin.
• Experience in complex or critical care with competencies in tracheostomy and ventilation.
• Experience managing clinical teams.
• Experience in a community setting.

Responsibilities

• Undertake initial holistic nursing assessments in partnership with the client, their family and the care team.
• Develop individualised care plans in partnership with the client, their family and other healthcare professionals. Effectively communicate with staff on the clinical condition/diagnosis and treatment/discharge plans of clients and ensure accurate records are maintained by staff.
• Identify and manage risks as part of care provision and lead the investigation and resolution of clinical incidents, ensuring timely and thorough documentation.
• Support staff by delivering client-specific clinical training, mentorship and supervision by providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional development.
