Paediatric Clinical Lead – Complex Care

Location: London & Essex (Community-Based)

Salary: £47,000 – £50,000 + £3,000 car allowance + mileage

We’re recruiting for a Clinical Lead to join a growing complex care provider supporting children with long-term health needs in the community. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Children’s Nurse (RNC) looking to step into a leadership role with genuine impact and autonomy.

Ideal for:
  • A Registered Children’s Nurse with complex care experience (ventilation, tracheostomy, PEG, etc.)
  • Someone passionate about clinical excellence and person‑centred community care
  • A confident leader able to supervise nurses and healthcare assistants
  • A proactive clinician who thrives on driving quality, safety, and compliance
In this role, you will:
  • Manage a caseload of around 10 clients with complex needs
  • Oversee clinical delivery and ensure adherence to CQC and NMC standards
  • Supervise and support care teams, ensuring safe and effective delegated tasks
  • Conduct audits, incident reviews, and care plan updates
  • Transcribe MAR charts and ensure medication compliance
  • Deliver clinical training and mentorship to field staff
  • Work collaboratively with families and MDT partners to achieve positive outcomes
