Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated doctor specializing in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. This role offers an excellent opportunity for SHO or Registrar level professionals aiming to develop their careers in Emergency Medicine.

The Trust provides rotational posts including:

• 3 months Paediatric ED followed by 3 months General Paediatrics
• 6 months Paediatric ED
• 3 months Paediatric ED followed by 3 months Adult ED

This post offers:

• Opportunities to attain MSc degrees in Emergency Medicine, Resuscitation and Emergencies (QMUL), Trauma (QMUL Trauma Surgery)
• Study leave allowance and expenses for Emergency Medicine Courses
• Bi-weekly teaching integrated into the rota for all doctors
• 3 months of fully furnished accommodation for relocating candidates (>150 miles)
• Management time included in the rota

The post includes Level 1 Core Emergency Ultrasound training. Candidates must have at least 18 months of experience in Emergency or Paediatric Medicine (FY2 level or equivalent) and hold a GMC full license to practice.

Applicants must be GMC registered with a license to practice. International candidates must complete language tests (IELTS/OET/NARIC) to meet UKVI requirements.

This is a 12-month fixed-term post with potential extension, averaging 48 hours/week, attracting 1a banding (50%), with 27 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
