Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive assistant to join the paediatric audiology team on a permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week. You will support paediatric hearing assessments, assist with hearing aid repairs, order stock and respond to patient queries.

Experience in customer care and hands-on work with hearing aids is desirable. The team is preparing for IQIPS accreditation and is focused on improving service delivery, reliability, and patient

Qualifications

• NVQ level 4 in Customer Care, Healthcare Science or Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Five GCSEs at grade A* to C, including a science subject, English and Maths, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in paediatric audiology assessments
• Carry out hearing aid repairs
• Order stock
• Respond to patient queries and correspondence
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams
• Help improve service delivery as the service works towards IQIPS accreditation
