We provide a full range of acute clinical services from Northampton General Hospital and Danetre Hospital in Daventry. We are a designated cancer centre and have recently invested in additional specialist services, including in-patient renal services and interventional cardiology. All elective inpatients and emergency admissions are screened for MRSA. We participate in a national patient safety programme and have systems to capture patient feedback. Are you a Paediatric Audiologist seeking to work in a dedicated paediatric service? We are looking for a bright, committed, and enthusiastic individual to join the Children's Hearing Clinic team on a 10-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You will work as part of an established team of paediatric audiologists and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including community paediatricians and teachers of the deaf.
Requirements include a BSc in Audiology (or equivalent). NHS paediatric audiology experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. Registration with RCCP/AHCS or HCPC is required. The role involves contributing to IQIPS accreditation efforts.
The Children's Hearing Clinic is a busy hospital-based outpatient service, supporting the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme and receiving referrals from various professionals across South Northants. It is part of the Children's Directorate, working closely with Paediatrics, ENT, primary care, education, and voluntary sectors.
