Job summary

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Band 5 Paediatric nurses to join the Paediatric Emergency Department at the West Middlesex Hospital site. The role offers structured orientation and opportunities to undertake courses such as PILS, Trauma, APLS, and other in-house training, in a fast-paced ED environment.

You will work as part of the MDT, deliver high standards of patient care, and contribute to quality indicators while supporting student nurses and coordinating

Qualifications

• Band 5 Paediatric nurse role in ED.
• Structured orientation and courses such as PILS, Trauma, APLS, and in-house training.
• Commitment to excellent patient experience and care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of patient care.
• Document patient care accurately in notes.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
• Work effectively within the MDT to achieve desired outcomes for patients and their families.
• Support student nurses on placement in ED.
