Job description

Join Our Team as a Packing Technician at Ipsen

We are seeking a dedicated Packing Technician to join our team in Wrexham. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our packing lines, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and supporting our commitment to delivering excellence to our customers.

Shift Pattern: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm on alternate weeks.

Responsibilities
  1. Operate and Innovate: Manage automated and semi-automated packing lines and utilize computer systems such as SAP and Excel.
  2. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with cGMP standards in all activities and documentation.
  3. Safety: Promote safety improvements, maintain inspection-ready housekeeping, and adhere to EHS training schedules.
  4. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot equipment and process faults, implementing corrective actions.
  5. Efficiency: Collect data and assess equipment effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
  6. Cold Storage Management: Transfer products and materials into and out of cold storage accurately.
  7. Mentorship: Support and train new team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Proactive, productive, and able to take initiative
