Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is recruiting for full time Packing Operatives to join the Bulk Pork Packing Department at the Westerleigh site. You will be trained to rotate across areas including box room, freezer lines and carousel, with role specific training to progress within the business.

Reporting to the Bulk Pork Packing Supervisor, you will help maintain health, safety and hygiene standards, and be prepared to adapt to non-routine situations while working as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food production environment is desirable, although training is provided.
• Willingness to learn in semi-skilled roles.
• Good communication.
• Ability to work on own initiative whilst working as part of a team, striving to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work is carried out to meet production deadlines.
• Seek training to maintain skills and stay up to date with best practice.
• Work as part of a team and take responsibility for own work.
• Carry out all procedures safely in training compliance.
