Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is recruiting Production Operatives for the Abattoir Department at our Westerleigh site. The role offers full-time hours, with 4 x 10 hour shifts and a 40 hour week; training will be provided to progress within the business.

You will operate equipment and assist on the line, following food safety training to ensure quality products. A can-do attitude and teamwork are essential as you learn new skills and support a busy production environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operating equipment and machinery to prepare carcass for chilling.
• Follow training in food safety to ensure high quality products.
• Ensure health and safety in the working environment.
• Training in knife safety to minimise injury risk.
• Complete tasks efficiently to reduce waste and downtime.
• Work as part of a team and share knowledge.
• Flexibly work across multiple roles within the Abattoir.
