Overview

Job Title: Packing Operative

Located: Beccles

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Overtime rates are 1.5x on anything over 40hrs up to Saturday at midnight, then anything after that up until 6am Monday is paid a 2x.

Job Purpose

• Monitor and check the quality of production packing according to specific instructions to ensure smooth and efficient machine operation.
• Maintain and supply packaging materials to your work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble boxes or trays as required for packing.
• Check products for quality standards.
• Report any issues to the Supervisor/Technician.
• Ensure machines are running safely and correctly, shutting down if necessary.
• Seal and label boxes correctly.
• Leave one box per layer for the PPQC check.
• Weigh and record rejects at the end of each shift.
• Move full material scrap trays to the appropriate area at the end of each shift.

Desirable Experience

• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.

Hours of Work

3 rotating shifts (6 AM - 2 PM, 10 PM - 6 AM, and 2 PM - 10 PM)
