Job summary

JDR Recruitment Ltd is seeking Packing Inspectors to join a large manufacturing site in Bridgwater.

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm. Pay £13.51 per hour. Immediate start. Temporary to permanent contract with weekly pay and guaranteed hours.

Duties include stacking, labeling, packing to specification, visual inspection and reporting defects, while maintaining health and safety standards and a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Available to start immediately.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Willing to work rotating shifts PM or Nights if required.

Responsibilities

• Stacking products and labeling to specification.
• Packing finished product and ensuring quality per work orders and visual aids.
• Visually inspecting products and reporting defects to the Shift Manager or Setter.
• Maintaining QA documents and keeping the workspace clean and safe.

The role:

• Complying with the employee's duties within the Health & Safety policy.
• Stacking products
• Labelling products
• Packing finished product to specification on a range of forming machinery.
• Visually inspecting the finished product to ensure that quality requirements are maintained in accordance with the relevant work order requirements and/or visual aids.
• Reporting any product defects to the Setter or Shift Manager.
• To ensure all relevant QA documentation is correctly completed.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.

About you:

• Available to start soon and are looking for long term work
• Previous background within manufacturing or warehouse
• Ability to work within a team

• Able to work either 3 rotating shifts or able to work on PM or Nights only
