Job summary

JDR is recruiting for a Packing Inspector to work on a large manufacturing site in Bridgwater. The shift is 2pm to 10pm, with an immediate start and weekly pay. You will pack, label, and visually inspect products to spec within a quality-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing or warehouse background, strong teamwork, and a high attention to detail. Training is provided and there is a temp-to-perm pathway.

• Able to work within a team with a professional approach.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Able to work 3 rotating shifts or PM/Nights.

Responsibilities

• Stacking products.
• Labelling products.
• Packing finished product to specification on machinery.
• Visually inspect finished product to meet quality requirements.
• Report defects to Setter or Shift Manager.
• Complete QA documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workplace.

The role: As a Packing Inspector you will be working within a manufacturing environment and your duties will be as follows:

• Complying with the employee'sduties within the Health & Safety policy.
• Stacking products
• Labelling products
• Packing finished product to specification on a range of forming machinery.
• Visually inspecting the finished product to ensure that quality requirements are maintained in accordance with the relevant work order requirements and/or visual aids.
• Reporting any product defects to the Setter or Shift Manager.
• To ensure all relevant QA documentation is correctly completed.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.

About you: As a Packing Inspector you will have the following skills and experience:
