Job summary

Exchange People has a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for an FLT Driver / Packer in Widnes. You'll work at a food production facility in a chilled environment, preparing meat for packing on the production line and handling packaging duties.

The role involves using a counterbalance forklift to move materials around site and load vehicles. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Prior food industry experience is preferred, and a valid counterbalance forklift licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• FLT driving and forklift operation experience in a production/warehouse setting.
• Experience in food production environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meat for packing on the production line in a chilled environment.
• Move materials with a FLT and assist with loading vehicles.

Job description

FLT Driver / Packer required in Widnes - £12.71 per hour

Our client, one of the region’s leading names in their industry, are looking for an experiencedoperative to work at their food production facility in Westbank, Widnes.

Prodiuction duties include preparing meat ready for packing on the production line, working within a chilled environment.

Warehouse duties include using a FLT to move materials around the site and loading vehicles.

Candidates would require previous work experience within the food industry and be comfortable working within chilled environments and a current counterbalance for lift licence would be an advantage.

The job operates Monday to Friday; 7am until 3.30pm.

The rate of pay is£12.71 per hour
