Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Packaging Technologist in Seaham to support NPD projects and coordinate packaging design changes. The role focuses on ensuring packaging is fit for purpose and collaborating with QA and production teams to resolve issues.

With exposure to various packaging materials, you will build supplier relationships and contribute to continuous improvements in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to problem solve and implement corrective actions.
• Experience with corrugated, carding and flexible packaging.
• Experience in Food / FMCG Manufacturing.
• Ability to work as a team to handle production problems.

Responsibilities

• Supporting NPD processes to bring new products to market.
• Building relationships with suppliers.
• Ensuring existing and new packaging is fit for purpose.
• Supporting issues with packaging, working alongside QA and operations.
• Coordinating design and redesign of new and existing packaging.
