Job summary

Anne Corder Recruitment Ltd is partnering with an established FMCG client in Cambridgeshire to recruit a Packaging Technologist. The role is hands-on, owning packaging projects from concept through to launch and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to deliver robust, commercially viable solutions.

You will manage packaging development across multiple NPD initiatives, briefing suppliers, and guiding artwork, testing, and production trials toward a successful launch.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging development, FMCG or manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of packaging components and production processes.
• Experience with materials such as plastic and glass.
• Confidence managing several projects simultaneously.
• Experience dealing directly with packaging suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail and an organized approach.
• Ability to work effectively across different departments.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

Packaging Technologist

Are you an experienced Packaging Technologist looking for a hands-on role where you can take ownership of packaging projects from concept through to launch?

We’re working with an established and fast-paced FMCG client in Cambridgeshire who is looking to add a Packaging Technologist to their growing team.

This is a varied role where you’ll work across multiple new product development projects, managing packaging requirements from initial concept and supplier briefing through to artwork, specifications, testing, production trials and final launch.

The Role

Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, you’ll be responsible for developing packaging solutions that are commercially viable, technically robust and delivered on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing packaging development across multiple NPD projects

• Coordinating colour matching, cutter guides and specification approvals

About You
