Job summary

Mundipharma is seeking a Packaging Technologist in Cambridge to lead packaging operations for solid dose products. You will own packaging processes, support continuous improvement and ensure GMP compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on packaging experience, quality mindset, and strong collaboration with QA, Regulatory and Engineering teams. This 12-month contingent contract role is based at our Cambridge site.

Qualifications

• Must have solid dose packaging/ manufacturing experience.
• GMP regulatory knowledge essential.
• Experience with packaging validation and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Technical Ownership: site authority for packaging processes, equipment and materials.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues and improve process robustness.
• Manage packaging change controls, artwork, NPI and tech transfers.
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma improvement initiatives to boost throughput and yield.
• Contribute to IQ/OQ/PQ validation and risk assessments.
• Prepare and review GMP documentation (SOPs, reports, specs).
• Align packaging with OEE improvement targets.
• Collaborate with QA, Regulatory, Engineering, Manufacturing.
