Job summary

Speedibake in Bradford is seeking a Packaging Technology specialist to drive packaging development, trials and cost efficiency across sites. You will optimise packaging performance to meet quality, cost and lead-time targets.

In this role you will collaborate with NPD, Production, Engineering and Procurement to deliver fit-for-purpose packaging across corrugated, thermoforms, film and paper substrates, while ensuring compliance with required specifications and records.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging technology with high accuracy.
• Understanding of packaging development and design processes.
• Knowledge of BRC requirements for packaging testing.

Responsibilities

• Create supplier briefs coordinating with Production, Engineering, Planning and procurement.
• Test and approve new packaging per BRC requirements.
• Develop corrugated, thermoforms, film and paper substrates.
• Lead packaging trials across sites with NPD, Production and Engineering.
• Work with purchasing to align packaging with supplier strategy.
• Prepare packaging specifications and approve samples.
