Job summary

Propelis, a go-to-market ecosystem, is seeking a Quality Control Operator in Witham to ensure final artwork files meet quality standards before release. You will work with Artwork, Production and Project Management to check digital packaging files for content accuracy, brand consistency and regulatory compliance, and verify print readiness.

The role demands meticulous attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control, proofreading or artwork checking within packaging/print.
• Strong understanding of FMCG packaging, print and prepress processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and packaging workflow tools.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check digital packaging artwork files in line with the QA manual and client specifications.
• Proofread all copy, data and legal text, highlighting errors and issues where required.
• Ensure colour, images and graphics match the approved client brief and brand guidelines.
• Verify that artwork is print-ready and technically correct, including sizes, line thicknesses, barcodes and printer specifications.
• Check printability and flag any potential production or prepress risks.
