An Artworker/Pre‑Press Technician is sought to transform approved packaging concepts into print‑ready artwork for production. You will collaborate with designers and production teams to ensure technical accuracy and brand compliance across dielines, templates and final files.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Artworker, Packaging Artworker, Reprographics Operator or Pre‑Press Technician.
• Ability to interpret customer branding and technical specifications.
• Experience preparing files for commercial print production.

Responsibilities

• Create final production artwork from approved design concepts.
• Prepare packaging artwork and layouts for commercial print production.
• Check artwork thoroughly for technical accuracy, consistency and compliance with customer brand guidelines.
• Create and amend cutter guides, dielines and packaging templates.
• Prepare print‑ready files for a range of packaging formats and print processes.
• Manage artwork revisions and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct pre‑flight checks to identify and resolve potential production issues.
• Ensure colours, imagery, barcodes and copy are correctly positioned and reproduced.
• Work closely with Creative Designers to maintain the integrity of their original designs.
• Liaise with Production and Operations teams to ensure artwork is optimised for manufacture.
• Support proofing processes and review digital and physical proofs where required.
• Maintain organised file structures and project documentation.
