Job summary

THG Nutrition is seeking a Packaging Development Executive in Manchester to lead packaging solutions across new product launches. You will collaborate with brand, marketing and influencer teams to map an innovation pipeline and support sustainability initiatives across all pack formats.

The role requires a packaging-related qualification, understanding of packaging functionality, and experience in FMCG. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

THG's Procurement and Supply Chain team are responsible for the processes and materials behind the manufacture and distribution of the goods that THG creates and sells. The work the team does is critical in ensuring the business is competitive in the market. ThePackaging Coordinator will be responsible for delivering improvements in quality, innovation and commercial benefit for packaging of our leading Wellbeing and Nutrition brands.

As a Packaging Development Executive, you’ll:

• To source and deliver packaging solutions across all NPD launches
• To support the Packaging Development Manager on delivering our Sustainability Strategy over all pack formats
• To work with the brand, marketing and influencer teams to monitor trends and map out an innovation pipeline for our Nutrition brands
• To understand localised trends in our overseas territories to support packaging innovation globally
• To review post-launch feedback in order to deliver a continuous improvement supporting our best-in-class brand

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

• Packaging Diploma qualification or similar Degree – (Food Technology/Nutrition)
• Basic Understanding of packaging and its functionality requirements
• Experience working in a FMCG environment
• Interest in Innovative packaging design
• Clear and concise communicator
• Ability to work to time critical deadlines.
• Team player
