Job summary

Beavertown Brewery in London is seeking a Packaging Operator to help run and restart packaging lines, carry out quality checks and keep records in a fast-paced brewery environment.

The role is full-time, rota-based, 5 days out of 7, with 9-hour shifts from 6:00am to midnight, AM/PM rotation and 24 hours’ notice for changes.

You’ll work with a friendly team, receive full training and benefits, and gain hands-on experience in one of the UK’s leading craft breweries.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, food or drink production is desirable.
• Ability to follow processes and keep accurate records.
• Enjoy hands-on, physical work and work well in a team.
• Comfortable with rotating shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, running and shutting down packaging lines.
• Carrying out quality checks throughout production and recording results.
• Keeping work area clean, safe and organized.
• Spotting and resolving basic equipment issues when they arise.
• Completing production and quality records and assisting with stock counts.

We're looking for a Packaging Operator to join us at Beavertown on a fixed-term contract. You'll play an important role in keeping our production lines running safely and efficiently, helping us package great beer to the high standards our customers expect.

What you'll be doing

• Setting up, running and shutting down packaging lines
• Carrying out quality checks throughout production
• Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised
• Spotting and helping to resolve basic equipment issues
• Completing production and quality records
• Supporting stock counts and other packaging activities
• Working closely with your teammates to keep production moving

What we're looking for

• Have experience in manufacturing, food or drink production (brewery experience is a bonus)
• Enjoy hands-on work and are comfortable with manual handling
• Work well as part of a team
• Have a positive attitude and a good eye for detail
• Can follow processes and keep accurate records
• Can adapt to changing production priorities
• Are happy to work a rotating shift pattern

Experience troubleshooting production equipment would be an advantage, but it's not essential.

Working pattern

This is a full-time, rota-based role working 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday.

• 9-hour shifts (including a 30-minute unpaid break)
• Morning and evening shifts between 6:00am and midnight
• Rotating AM and PM shifts
• Your rota will be shared by your manager in advance
• We'll always give you at least 24 hours' notice of any changes to your shift start time
