Job summary

Staffbase Recruitment is recruiting for a Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a leading OEM in packaging machinery. The role is home based across Central and Southern UK with a basic salary of £55K–£60K plus car and bonus (OTE £70K). You will report to the Sales Director and drive new business in the UK.

Candidates should have proven packaging/automation sales experience, ideally in food & FMCG sectors, and be able to engage technically with clients. Occasional European travel is required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales of packaging or automated machinery.
• Experience selling to the food & FMCG manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of packaging machinery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow-up sales enquiries and undertake client visits.
• Sales and business development activities including prospecting, calls and marketing work as required.
• Liaise with external clients and internal technical teams to specify machinery for customers.
• Attend product/trade exhibitions and events.
• Provide regular sales activity reports to directors.
