Job summary

Acorn Recruitment in Magor, Monmouthshire is seeking Manufacturing Machine Operators for a temporary long-term role with a 4 on 4 off pattern. Pay ranges from £15.46 to £42.32 per hour, with structure and overtime opportunities in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires ability to work in a team, follow processes, and participate in training to develop new skills while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• English and Mathematics Standard Grades or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow processes.
• Willingness to learn and undertake upskilling as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment to ensure finished goods meet quality, timing, and cost requirements.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly routine tasks with attention to detail.
• Comply with statutory, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Follow packaging and food hygiene regulations, including HACCP.
• Maintain housekeeping, cleaning, and 5S standards.
• Carry out basic asset care requirements for machinery.
• Support improvement activities to achieve departmental KPIs and SIC; attend training.
