Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a well-established manufacturer based near Taunton, Wellington, Somerset. The role offers structured training, progression, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position after a temporary period.

You will join a small production team, operate and program machinery, perform manual handling, and rotate across tasks with overtime and weekend shifts. Pay starts at £14.66 per hour, rising to £18.99 with training.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with labour-intensive work and manual handling.
• Ability to follow processes and work well in a team.
• Willingness to train and progress within the role.
• Comfortable working in a noisy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a small production team.
• Carry out manual handling tasks while filtering materials through machinery.
• Programme and operate production machinery.
• Top up chemical and fluid levels on machinery.
• Change tooling to manufacture different products.
• Fault-find and resolve production issues to maintain workflow.
• Rotate between different machines and production tasks.
