Job summary

AMFRESH is seeking a Machine Operative for our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This permanent, weekly-paid role offers reliable hours and opportunities for long-term growth.

You will operate production machinery, load packaging materials and help maintain a clean, safe production environment on a 4 on, 4 off rota (07:00 - 19:30). You should have an interest or experience with machinery, strong numeracy and attention to detail, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in machinery.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Target-driven with motivation to hit targets.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage production machinery safely.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Complete product changeovers, loading new packaging materials.
• Monitor, set, and optimise machine performance to hit targets.
• Report changeovers, downtime, and issues to the Line Leader.
• Support a production line to fulfil daily customer orders.
