Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Packaging Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair end-of-line packaging machinery at customer sites across the UK. You will install and commission new equipment, ensuring successful handovers to customers and providing ongoing technical support.

The role requires strong mechanical skills with electrical fault-finding ability, a full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial packaging or automated equipment.
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to fault-find electrical issues.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair end-of-line packaging machinery at customer sites.
• Install and commission new equipment and ensure smooth handover to customers.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform corrective repairs.
• Advise on machinery optimisation and performance improvements.
