Job summary

Interaction Technical is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to service packaging and end-of-line automation equipment across the UK. You’ll install, service, maintain and repair automated machinery at customer sites, ensuring uptime and efficiency.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.
• Experience with industrial machinery, packaging equipment, conveyors or processing machinery.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel nationwide with occasional overnight stays.
• Engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Mechanical and electrical fault finding.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Emergency breakdown response and repair.
• Machinery installation and commissioning.
• Equipment upgrades and optimisation.
• Customer technical support and training.
• Completion of service reports and job documentation.
