Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive growth across the Hull, Grimsby and surrounding region. You will develop new business while nurturing an established portfolio of key accounts in the packaging sector.

The role requires a proven track record in field sales within packaging, strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, and the drive to manage a territory end-to-end. A full UK driving licence is essential, with a company car provided.

Qualifications

• Previous field sales experience within the packaging industry.
• Proven ability to win new business while developing existing customer accounts.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own territory effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business across the Hull, Grimsby and surrounding areas.
• Manage and grow an established portfolio of key accounts.
• Sell a broad range of packaging solutions into manufacturing, food & beverage, logistics, distribution and industrial customers.
• Build relationships with procurement, operations and senior management teams.
• Identify customer requirements and provide tailored packaging solutions.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and achieve sales and margin targets.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts.
