Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited is seeking a field-based engineer to service, maintain and repair end-of-line packaging machinery at customer sites across the UK. You will install and commission new equipment, ensuring smooth handovers and provide technical advice to optimise performance.

The role requires strong mechanical skills with electrical fault-finding, a self-motivated approach, and a full UK driving licence with willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Field service, maintenance or installation experience with industrial machinery or automated equipment.
• Strong mechanical skills with electrical fault-finding capability.
• Self-motivated engineer able to work independently at customer sites.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair end-of-line packaging machinery at customer sites.
• Install and commission new equipment, ensuring successful customer handovers.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out corrective repairs.
• Support customers with machinery optimisation, performance improvements and technical advice.
