Job summary

FedEx Express UK Transportation Limited in Poole seeks a Handler to ensure urgent packages reach the right place on time. You will load and unload vehicles, sort and move freight, and operate scanning equipment following Health and Safety rules.

Position Summary:

Hours: 30 per week.

Shift: AM Tuesday to Saturday 03:00am - 09:00am

Salary: £13.26 per hour, increasing after 9 months service. Premia paid for hours worked between 2:30am - 10:30am.

Our Handlers ensure that customers' urgent packages get to the right place, on time.

The role involves loading and unloading of company vehicles, sorting and moving packages / freight using effective scan and load methods complying with Health and Safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

You will use machinery and technology where it is appropriate and provide support to supervisor and team members as required.
