Disability North is seeking a caring Personal Assistant to support an 11-year-old girl in Stanley. The role involves accompanying her to outdoor activities, parks, museums, and soft play, ensuring safety and positive engagement.

The ideal PA is patient, friendly, and able to adapt to her needs, including communication using BSL. A proactive, nurturing approach and discretion are essential; experience with autism is preferred.

Qualifications

Personal Assistant required to support a female aged 11 years who lives in Stanley, has autism and uses BSL as communication. The main role of the worker will be to take the child out to various activities.

She is a happy and active child who likes outdoor play, especially play parks and swings. She also enjoys baking, soft play, trampolining and loves museums that she can interact with.

We are looking for someone who can provide a positive, caring environment for our daughter. The most important attributes of a PA would be to be caring, patient, and friendly and be able to cater for her needs.
