Job summary

Independent Lives is seeking a kind, active personal assistant to support a 7-year-old boy with autism. You will work alongside another PA who supports his sister, with duties including walks, bathing, play and supervising meals. The role requires reliability, good timekeeping, hygiene, and strong interpersonal skills.

DBS check is preferred and may be arranged by Independent Lives. Hours: Fridays and Saturdays, 8 hours per week (additional hours available during holidays).

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required or arranged by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Go on walks with the child, his sister, and the other PA.
• Bath the child.
• Play with the child.
• Sit with the child at mealtimes.
• Carry out other relevant duties as required.

You will be working with another PA who looks after my daughter.

• Sitting with him at mealtimes
